A lot of myths circulating among the public about arthritis. This false knowledge which could then lead to mistakes in respond. This is the myths.
1. Myth: Arthritis is caused by cold weather, frequent bathing of the night, bathing too frequently and often are in a cold room or air-conditioned. This myth is very popular. However, not truth, as pathologically there is no relation between the myth and the onset of rheumatic disease.
Fact: Water or cold air will cause the joint capsule contract. This of course can increase pain of rheumatic joints are already sick. Instead, patients with rheumatoid arthritis is a warm water bath to reduce the pain in her joints.
2. Myth: Arthritis is caused by foods such as offal. This myth is also widely believed by most people.
Fact: Of the more than 100 kinds of arthritis, only one relating to food (offal), the Arthritis Gout / Gout.
3. Myth: Arthritis is caused by hereditary factors.
